We worked hard on this record.. I had just up and left Mansfield and headed south.. For the Carolina's. The distance that was now placed between the gang (5thElament, Kmeeze, Simmie Sosa & I) was a huge hurdle that acknowledged during the beginning stages of Sweet Talk, but it may have been the challenge we needed. I knew I had to lock in. I was finally out, away from home. Only to stand up and see my home from a new perspective.. It was beautiful. It was inspiring.. It fueled the stories on records like "Pimps & Pushers" and "Nothing At All". The south had started to make its mark on me as well.. Since I had started to find my way around, the rough demos I eagerly played seemed to have guided me along. I ended up meeting up with a producer & singer named Ramiro Chavez. We met through a group of friends I had grown fond of whom called themselves 3HD. Immediately after hearing the first record of Ramiro's played for me. We facetime'd him from the studio and set up a date to link up. One that same day, we created "Find You". As you can tell from listening to it. We both felt that we had something to prove.. I needed to get buzzing in this new town, and he felt that he needed to make the proper introduction. We took the chips on our shoulders right up to the mic and did just that.. From top to bottom this album was made with HEART and burning AMBITION. You'll be able to tell. Enjoy! -Taj
